The position of Assistant Business Agent for the Maintenance Department was added to the top five Officers at the end of the trusteeship by the International ATU. As Assistant Business Agent of Maintenance, Carlos has the following areas of responsibility:

• Assist with resolving Maintenance issues at CTA and Pace
• Assist in solving maintenance grievances
• Assist the President-Business Agent as needed
• Assist with General Office issues
• Assist with issues regarding the TRTW (Temporary Return To Work) Program at CTA
